Lynyrd Skynyrd rocks the Golden Nugget

Members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Southern rock superstars Lynyrd Skynyrd featuring Johnny Van Zant on vocals performed a sold out show in the Grand Event Center at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, La. on April 8. The band opened up the concert with “What’s Your Name” and kept the crowd on their feet for more than two hours.

The concert also featured all their hits including “Saturday Night,” a version of Merle Haggard’s “Honky Tonk Night Time Man,” “That Smell,” “Simple Man,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and closed with their classic, “Free Bird.”
